Project Management System for HGW Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH

Science-engineering company HGW Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH is a Germany partner of SSL. In 2000, specialists of SSL developed and supplied to HGW the Project Management System (PMS) based upon the Lotus Notes/Domino platform.

The network of Notes/Domino has been installed in the office of HGW. The designers and users of the System can communicate each other via the external channels, so it was possible to do the main part of development in Obninsk and then transfer all design data to the Customer’s site in Germany.

The HGW Project Management System includes the following main modules:

• the module of the Project Management itself, which allows to register and arrange the project structure: divide it into separate stages, tasks and sub-tasks with monitoring of the results of every stage execution;
• the module of the projects documentation providing storage, registration, collective use and operative access to the project documents;
• the module for costs and project resources management.
