Simulator maintenance
The simulator maintenance is needed to provide quality assurance of their operation during the whole lifetime.
The simulator maintenance is realized according to the conditions defined in the Contract for maintenance. The works are done mainly at the Customer’s site. In special cases defined in the Technical Requirements, the works can be done at the Contractor's site with further installation of the new version of the simulator at the Contractor's site.
Depending on the Customer’s request, the maintenance may include the following elements:
1) Keeping the simulator in the working state:
a)consulting in the “hot line” mode;
b)training of the personnel to work with the simulator software;
c) restoration of the software working state in case of hard breaks;
d)elimination of notifications made and discrepancies revealed during operation.
2) Upgrading of the simulator with the aim to:
a)solve new educational problems;
b)modify the simulator according to the modifications made on the simulated unit since the commissioning of the simulator last version;
c) increase the number of the simulated modes.
3) Enlargement of the scope and accuracy of the plant systems and equipment simulation:
a)development of new models;
b)modification of the existing models;
c) increase of the simulator functional capacities (addition of new functions).
4) Upgrade of the simulator hardware and software with the corresponding change and testing of the simulator software configuration.
